Manager - Digital Applications

Digital Applications is a part of our core foundation, that includes claims management, digital products, return management,Business Applications and secure architecture

What the team will look like, how they will work, and much more will depend on your leadership style andvision for "Digital Applications". You will, however, have very clear goals, which include building and leading a team with end-to-end delivery capabilities, from support to security, architecture, and governance.

More specifically, you will:

- Define the structure and set-up of the team and drive the build-up over the next year

- Continue leading and developing the team, which includes personnel responsibilities.

- Foster a culture of proactivity, innovation, and modern approaches to IT within the team

- Explore and develop new business opportunities

- Establish, maintain, and ensure delivery of the overall products roadmap and strategy of the connected application product platform

- Identifies and executes on opportunities for application / platform efficiency

- Hands on experience or knowledge of programming language would be an added advantage

- Able to support the development and design of bespoke solution

- Continuously stay up-to-date on relevant technologies and use this knowledge to push our architectural ambitions forward.

Fast action is the key to success here. Not that you need to be working 24/7/365, but in the sense of never leaving a good opportunity laying idle.

We are very open in terms of what your background may be, as long as you have:

- Bachelor's degree or master's degree, preferably in: IT or business

- Solid leadership experience and the ability to lead others through encouragement, feedback, and performance development

- Sound technological knowledge, not at coding level, but enough to understand our systems and analyse them to identify key issues and formulate conclusions

- Excellent communication skills in English, as you will often collaborate with colleagues across borders and even travel approx. 15 days per year
