ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and mentor a team of analysts, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and facilitating professional growth to meet the client objective related to social media monitoring.
- Ensure data accuracy and quality through implementing governance and control processes while deriving the insights from social media listening tools.
- Develop data-driven strategies for campaign optimization, providing recommendations and insights for decision-making.
- Work cross-functionally with departments like Content Creation, Design, Data Analysts, BI developers and Customer Support to align digital strategies with broader company objectives.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and tools, evaluating and implementing advanced analytics technologies to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor KPIs related to digital and social media marketing efforts, ensuring campaigns meet predefined performance goals.
MUST HAVE SKILLSETS:
- Proficiency in using social media monitoring & analytics tools (e.g., Meltwater, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Brandwatch) to track and analyze key performance indicators
- Good understanding to keyword search (query formation) in social media monitoring tools to get the relevant mentions. Ability to write a precise Boolean query that captures relevant conversations while excluding irrelevant noise.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Supervise, mentor, and provide leadership to a team of Digital and Social Media Analysts
- Overall 5+ years of experience, with minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in social media monitoring and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to nontechnical stakeholders
- Experience in providing strategic consulting to improve online reputation based on social media insights.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube) and understanding of their KPIs and features
- Understanding of marketing principles and brand management to align social media strategies with broader business goals.
