Our clients are a leading MNC Manufacturing organization in Mumbai into high-volume continuous process products. They have ambitious growth plans and have pan-India, multilocational, profitable & growing manufacturing operations.

Our clients are seeking an accomplished Demand Planning Manager to take ownership of the function of all the manufacturing plants of the organization in India. Will be based at the Mumbai Head Office and coordinate across supply chain functions in India and overseas. Will report to the Director.

Will be expected to set up systems and processes and drive initiatives to transform the plant into a "Future-Ready" & Modern Business setup.

Ideal candidates must demonstrate high initiative, ownership, and integrity and possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and vision.

Job Description:

1. Head consolidated demand & production planning, inventory control, and coordination with procurement to maximize process efficiency and productivity at India BU level.

2. Coordinate with Unit SCMs for optimum utilization of QAD and other planning systems to centrally maintain and control the accuracy of all goods inventories, procurement, planning, scheduling, and deliveries.

3. Drive S&OP, mapping company-level production capacity (RCCP), resource requirement planning (RRP), capacity-building projects, and inputs CAPEX requirements.

4. Monitor Sales Budget vs. actual, forecast accuracy, stock levels, safety stock levels, and re-order levels for each item of raw material at each unit based on the vendor of raw material and lead times.

5. Improve Customer DeliveryRating - DIFOTISand lead the drive on customer engagement programs.

6. Ensure Working Capital against Budget, Inventory Control without stock-outs, and avoidance of premium freight.

7. Draft SOPs and workflow linked to Warehouse Management, Logistics Operations, Planning, and Inventory Management.

8. Implement process improvement projects within the SCM function.

9. Drive effective use of ERP (QAD).

10. Leverage QAD-based applications like AC-WMS/More Planner / Alchemist.

Candidate Profile:

1. Education: Graduate / BE / BTech + preferably Management Qualifications (Full-time / Part-time).

2. Should have 3 - 8 Years of relevant experience in demand planning.

3. Excellent interpersonal, written & oral communication skills.

The position is expected to be closed in the next 4 weeks.
