Manager - Demand Planning

Roles and Responsibilities:-

- Generate statistical forecasts based on historical sales trends

- Vendor Management (Finished Goods, Raw Material, Packaging Material): Production, Supply

- Negotiating MOQ, Rate revisions with Vendors

- Generate Demand and Supply plan for all the products and revenue teams

- Track inventory across multiple locations and create a supply plan to replenish inventory

- Communicating supply risks in a timely manner

- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the supply and demand planning process

- Suggesting changes to inventory warehousing to meet increased or reduced demand

- Stock management - inventory monitoring and control, coordination with warehouse team

- Efficiently manage inventory in the system to ensure fulfillment and reduce wastage

- Ensuring the business has optimized stock levels at multiple locations

- Phase out old/inactive stocks

- Leading MRP change projects

- Communicating the products that are not performing well and plan to scale them or delist them

- Support management with what-if scenarios pertaining to risk assessment and mitigation

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree required (Tier 1 College : IIT / NIT / BITS / IIIT)

- At least 2-3 years of experience (Prior work in a start-up will be an added advantage)

- Hands on Demand Planning experience

- Experience in handling clients/vendor in previous role

- Should be adept in Advance Excel

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (finding right data cuts to drive business metrics and create impact
