Manager Demand Planing & Forecasting - A Manufacturing Co

Key Result Areas:

- Managing demand & production plan of 100+ SKUs produced in multi manufacturing units

- Conducting current and future forecasting analysis, ensuring forecasting processes and methods are followed along with organizing lead demand planning and forecasting meetings with Sales & Marketing Managers

- Establishing & utilizing various best methods (statistical model & software tools) in creating forecasts and respective inventory targets

- Evolving and maintaining documentation & standard operating procedures for demand planning processes & systems

- Performing inventory management of stocks; replenishing stock items by raising purchase indents / delivery advices & scrutinizing purchase indents

- Ensuring the availability of stocks, preventing wastage of stored stock and tracking & improving effectiveness of stock norms based on replenishment design

- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure quality of stock as well as timely delivery

- Designing and developing systems and procedures to implement purchasing, production scheduling, inventory control which ensured availability of parts, materials and transportation in accordance with Just-in-Time delivery schedules, while maintaining minimum inventory

- Formulating, establishing and administering plant purchasing procedures consistent with established corporate and division policies and procedures

- Supervising Vendor Management for achieving cost effectiveness; conducting price negotiation, technical discussions & feasibility and techno-commercial negotiations

- Administering inventory policy and procedures including inventory levels & stock-out rate and approved disposal of obsolete or surplus materials

- Maintaining the inventory norms such as material master, BOM, MRP type, lot size, strategy type, reorder point, MRP controller

Candidate Requirement :

BE / BTECH with MBA from- NITIE / SP JAIN / XIMB / IIM / SIBM / XLRI - ONLY APPLY

- Should have a strong experience in Demand Planing / Forecasting & Distribution

- Liasoning with all departments

- Working on SAP MM Module.

- Candidates from : FMCG / C.D /Lubricant/ Tyres / Paints / Adhesive preferred
