We are looking for candidates for one of the Indian eCommerce company for Hyderabad Location. Job Description: - Manage DC Operations in the assigned region, Responsible for driving and achieving targets for key distribution KPI's for the region assigned - Assist in planning and operationalization of New DC centres. - Monitor DC Operations and identify improvement opportunities. - Own Large Warehouse operations - Do site selection, setup most efficient layout, scaleup operations from the scratch and oversee day-to-day operations of the DC / XD - Work with central operations/planning team and do detailed planning (DC / XD space/manpower / MHEs / assets/consumables etc- ) for BAU and peak and own flawless execution of the plan. - Set strategic direction/goals to the team for building a best in class DC / XD - Build a most cost-efficient warehouse - set a benchmark in cost - Workout most efficient storage solutions / MHEs for better space utilization - Define, monitor& track day-to-day operational metrics of the DC and ensure that all operational metrics meet the target consistently. - Work on different methods of manpower deployment for most optimal utilization of manpower. - Build a culture of ownership, innovation, continuous improvement, safety and kaizen in the DCs Desired Skills and Experience: - Strong leadership abilities & people management skill - Very good functional knowledge in warehouse operation - Strong in Analytical ability, problem solving & decision making - Well versed in all Quality, Kaizen, Policies and procedure-related Warehouse operation Qualification : - B.Tech/B.E/MBA with 6+ years of experience - Operational Knowledge of Logistics/ Couriers/Retail/Manufacturing/FMCG/FMCD industry. - Exposure to Business Process Re-engineering, Lean/6 Sigma, QMS etc will be added bonus
