Manager - Data Warehouse - Analytics

We are urgently looking for Manager (Dataware House) with one of the Leading Analytics Firm for Mumbai Location:

Position Description :

Data Warehouse Manager (Technology) is expected to lead data warehousing team. He needs to provide technical leadership and guidance to Data warehouse / BI team. This role requires strong ETL, BI, communication and leadership skills. The team lead should be able to work collaboratively by translating requirements into designs and taking responsibility for the implementation of those designs. A proactive approach to development is critical. The person in this position is expected to be an active contributor to the team.It is a challenging role as the team has diverse Data warehousing and BI expertise. Person should have necessary soft skills to manage difficult situations involving technical issues, demanding Clients, escalations and making the team work as a unit. This is a challenging but rewarding assignment that provides the opportunity to work in a highly demanding technical environment

Total experience between 8-10 years with 5 + years of Experience in dataware house and Business Intelligence.

Skills Required

- Exposure to a Data warehouse / BI project

- Strong ETL Skills

- Hands-on experience in Data Modeling and Data Architecture

- Very strong SQL skills

- Ability to understand the business functionality of the project being delivered

- Skills to do effective work allocation, monitoring and develop the ability of the team to scale up for taking on more work

- Skills to do effective risk identification and developing mitigation plans

- Strong oral and written communication

- Leadership experience – should have led teams for at least 3 years

- Expertise across Microsoft and Open source tool stacks – Database, ETL tools, BI tools

- BE / ME from premier institute

- Own functional design of the end-to-end solution footprint during implementation

- Development team management and project management
