Manager - Data Science - Manufacturing

Job Role :

You will support our product, sales, leadership and marketing squads with insights gained to help guide application and business development with our product and engineering teams. This support will come from a combination of leveraging data-driven insights from existing platform features and building user-facing analytics.

KRAs :

- Apply data science methods to capture meaningful insights, turn them into competitive advantages and improve and optimize performance.

- Leverage your advanced analytics skills, define innovative approaches, perform complex data analyses and build models to help derive business insights, solve complex business problems and improve decisions.

- Deploy statistical modelling and optimization techniques most suited for the business problem (using R, Python, SQL, and/or other relevant tools). This could include discussing data collection, architecture, associated costs and trade-offs, and recommendations. .

- Interpret outputs of your quantitative analyses and statistical models into specific and actionable business recommendations and implications.

- Responsible for the creation of new data sciences capabilities for the business by envisioning and executing strategies that will influence improvement of the business's performance by enabling informed decision making.

KPI :

- Project Delivery in frame of time.

Experience :

- Experience working on big data assignments in analytics domains such as customer 360, car data analytics, telematics solution, predictive maintenance, pricing and purchasing optimization

- Advanced knowledge of mathematical techniques, clustering, K-means, kernel density estimators, random forest, neural networks, regression, linear programming and Monte Carlo simulation

- Fluent in at least two programming languages: C++, Hadoop, MATLAB, Python,R, SAS, SPSS, SQL .

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to dis-aggregate issues, identify root causes and link analytics to derive solutions.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to clearly and effectively communicate complex analytical and technical content.

- Collaborative team player, professional attitude with a strong drive and highly positive mind-set.
