Manager - Data Science and Analytics Client: A Leading FMCG firm Job description : - Apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build, maintain, and improve on multiple decision systems and processes - Work closely with key functions like marketing, sales, supply chain and sourcing to understand the complex business scenarios where analytics can make decision making more effective - Translate business requirement into an analytics problem statement and expected outcome and make strategic recommendations on business problems leveraging data - Manage teams of consultants from external partner organizations to ensure quality delivery of analytics solutions Business Partnering: - Partner with the business teams on identifying and implementing analytics & data science projects - Work across teams to improve existing systems and processes related to data and analytics - Extend support on data and analytics to relevant stakeholders Desired Candidate: Profile/Experience: - 3-5 years of relevant data science & advanced analytics experience with 1-2 years of managerial experience - Proficiency in the use of statistical modelling packages & algorithms - Strong working knowledge of SQL, R/Python& Visualization tools (PowerBI / Thoughtspot / Tableau etc) - Experience in Cloud engineering & exposure to cloud environments will be preferred, although not mandatory - B.Tech or Bachelor degree in mathematics, statistics or computer science or related field from tier 1/2 institute - Master's degree / MBA preferred - tier 1/2 institute
