Manager - Data Engineering - AWS Certified A leading client of ours is hiring a Manager Data Engineering, role is based in Mumbai. The candidates MUST have AWS certification. The brief of the role is as follows: - 5 to 9 years of experience as a Data Engineer/Analyst helping organizations for visualizing the data - Manage Existing SAP BI and Schemas and migrate to new data engineering stack - Working on advanced analytics use cases on the roadmap and maintain the analytics platform - Consult with business, Insights team, Digital and IT teams on the new changes and use case and prepare execution plan - Developing, Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant applications on Cloud services - Consult on best practices to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure - Executing data modelling and optimization of data and analytics solutions at scale - Crafting and developing applications that source data from various systems utilizing advanced programming in Scala, Python, js, shell scripting and SQL - Delivering analytical algorithms and applications (eg. machine learning) - Engaging in proof of concepts and experiments together with data scientists and analysts to deliver new advanced analytics use cases Work with vendor on Fiorano (PAAS) use cases to pull data from different data sources Infrastructure Support: - 1. Establish metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements to continually improve the performance of IT operations 2. Develop strategic relationship with Vendors to drive timely delivery on Projects and support assignments 3. Leverage New technologies to drive 24- 7 mobility and Increase Productivity 4. Define IT Standards and Best Practice Security Processes for IT Projects 5. Build strong BCP/DR, Near DR and Far DR Capabilities and drive redundancy 6. Responsible for IT governance through successful implementation, adoption and periodically updating IT Policies, SOP and Procedures 7. Ensure appropriate action is taken to anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems and services ensuring that such problems are fully documented within relevant system(s). 8. Ensuring near 100% availability of IT infra managing stringent hygiene across endpoint devices, network infra, data, application, software eco system 9. Managing and maintaining IT infra asset inventory in ITSM application tool with benchmark accuracy &amp; license compliance 10. Communicate effectively acting as a key liaison with customers, team members and colleagues 11. Periodic review with internal team and partners on monthly performance 12. Own the storage, backups and data centre setups for the organization. 13. Identify and recommend improvements for the Cloud, Storage &amp; Network infrastructure 14. Draft, implement and measure our IT performance &amp; support processes based on newly developed and existing policies and procedures.
