We are currently looking for a Data Analytics Manager with one of the leading Insurance firms based in Mumbai. With respect to that, below is the detailed job description for the profile:

Job Title : Manager -Statistical Modeling & Analytics

Job Specification:

Education Criteria:

PHD/Masters in Statistics/Economics/Maths/MBA. (Tier 1 B-school 2012/14 passouts and Tier 2 B-schools 2009/11 passouts )

Bachelors with 5-7 years experience.

Experience: 2-5 years relevant experience.

Essential Experience:

Solid hands on work experience in advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling using SAS and R

Proven experience with advanced statistical concepts such as logistic regression, CHAID, Cluster Analysis, Random Forest, Association Rules, Collaborative Filtering, Monte Carlo Simulation, Hidden Markov Models, Support Vector Machine, Na- ve Bayes

Prior experience in using clickstream data for advanced statistical analysis is preferred (ability to read web log files)

Excellent communication skills, keen learner and strong team player

Ability to drive analytics solution in a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborate with diverse internal teams

Job Purpose :

Drive data based decision making by providing actionable insights from customer behavior and engagement across various touch points

Job Responsibilities :

- Engage with business teams, understand the business needs and formulate the requirement into structured project framework with clear milestones and implementation plan

- Drive personalized product/service recommendation, individual level targeting & underwriting, claims fulfillment and retention strategy across conventional and digital channels by developing statistical models and analysis

- Pro-actively explore alternate data sources (e.g. click stream data, social media, voice records) and various advanced quantitative approaches to develop and enhance existing suite of analytics solutions
