Manager - Custody Operations

Profile- Manager- Custody & Settlements Team in Securities Market Division , responsibilities include

- Confirmation of Trades on Stock Exchanges and their subsequent Settlement for Custody Clients in the Cash Market segment.

- Thus possess knowledge of Custody & Depository Operations, Corporate Actions, SEBI / RBI Reporting and related Stock Exchange & Regulatory guidelines.

- Re-issuance & Cancellation of Depository Receipts (ADRs & GDRs). Knowledge of Re-issuance & cancellation process.

- Clients among others include- FIIs, NRIs, Banks, PMS (Portfolio Management Services), Insurance Companies and Mutual Funds etc.

- Handle Confirmation & Settlement related operations for both Debt and Equity segment.

- Preparing MIS Reports, handling auditor / client queries .

- Work on projects on system upgrade and new features or process roll out at other centers.

1) The candidate should have good understanding of Capital Markets and Custodial operations, well versed with settlements procedures and life cycle of trades executed in Stock Exchanges

2) Good understanding of various instruments traded in Capital Market (incl. Debt Instruments and GSecs)

3) Should have experience in managing Settlement functions of a custodian

4) Have Good understanding of SEBI and RBI regulations for Custody, FII and FVCI

5) Have fair knowledge of compliance requirements of a custodian

6) Reasonable understanding of DP operation

Profile also requires :

- Good understanding and ability to implement new process and designing new internal control measures

- Pro-active customer service (internal and external customers)

- Need to interact with multiple teams internal and external in completing the desired tasks

- Good understanding of banking transactions including forex related including inward and outward remittances

- Reasonable understanding of tax provisions relating to custodial business.
