- MBA/ CA/ CFA/ ACCA with a minimum of 7 years of Remedial Management/ Restructuring experience
Principal Accountabilities:
- Formulate credit solutions/exit strategies/risk containment strategies/ restructuring for the borrower account with a view to maximizing value to the Bank
- Work alongside the business units to manage challenging clients impacting the profitability of the business
- Restructure facilities to borrowers and rehabilitate them to performing and obtain necessary approvals from the Credit Committee for the Credit including write-back of provisions (if any) that can contribute to the bottom line of the dept.
- Close coordination with the stakeholders for expeditious closure of the restructuring documentation
- Close monitoring of the portfolio and identify weaknesses in the credit process (if any) and propose recommendations to Management and the Credit Committee for improvements to mitigate risks
- Contribute towards building sound asset quality and proactive credit culture throughout all corporate banking, and ensuring that the credit approval process is responsive to customer needs
- Manage Credit Control portfolio by identifying signs of weaknesses in the portfolio and formulating exit and/ or recovery strategies, whilst minimizing collection costs and credit losses
- Contribute to the improvement of the Bank's advances portfolio, reducing exposure to weak credits to strengthen the composition of the Asset book
- Meet the requirement for policy formulation, in line with increasing quantum and complexity of regulatory and internal guidelines, with a view to controlling risks and at the same time promoting growth in the Bank
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies and guidelines
