Farmtheory is an innovative B2B agri-tech startup that bridges the gap between buyers and sellers of ugly produce by creating a farm-to-fork value chain. Our mission is to create a sustainable and efficient agri-tech value chain. We are on a bold mission to make a better food system that would curb food waste, increase farmer income, and give everyone access to healthy affordable produce. Farmtheory is now 150 people strong and one of the largest, fastest-growing b2b fresh-produce delivery brands in Bangalore, backed by Y Combinator, Japanese and Indian Angels and prominent Indian VCs. We have just closed a multimillion dollar pre-series A round and are looking to unlock the next level of scale and expand to Indian and Oversees geographies. We have been working with a lean team until now, and are now looking to build a core team who can directly work with Founders and drive their functions independently with a Growth Strategy.

Job Description:

As a Credit Collection Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit collection operations and ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding debts. You will work closely with a team of telecallers to manage the collection process, utilize digital tools for reconciliation, and implement strategies to optimize collection efforts. Your role will involve monitoring and analyzing collection data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and managing escalations.

Required Skills and Experiences:

1. Proven experience as a Credit Collection Manager in reputable companies like Udaan or similar organizations.

2. Strong understanding of credit collection processes and best practices.

3. Experience in using digital tools and technologies for credit collection and reconciliation.

4. Ability to lead and manage a team of telecallers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with debtors and clients.

6. Proficiency in analyzing collection data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions.

7. Sound knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to credit collection.

8. Ability to handle escalated customer situations and resolve issues in a professional and efficient manner.

9. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and meet collection targets.

10. Proficient in using collection software and tools for efficient tracking and reporting.

11. Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
