Manager - Credit Appraisal - Thermal/Power/Infrastructure - NBFC

We are hiring for a leading NBFC @ Mumbai location for the role of Manager - Credit Appraisal (Thermal/ power/ infrastructure).

Sector & Corporate Credit related Expertise-

- Responsible for developing sector expertise in the allocated sectors with the objective of making them act as in house experts for those sectors.

- Responsible for making sector presentations to the Investment Credit Committee for aiding decision making, presenting discussion papers on various sectors, along with the team and under the guidance of Head Credit.

- Responsible for monitoring key assumptions to be used with respect to individual sectors, meeting with 3rd parties /developers periodically for sector updates.

- Managing Credit assessment of every loan proposal.

- Responsible for establishing and periodically updating various credit check lists that serve as benchmarks for evaluation of all credit appraisals.

- Responsible for establishing and continuously improving processes and operating guidelines for credit risk function of the organization.

- Managing the entire credit assessment process with the objective of minimising the credit risks in the proposals for the allocated Power, Solar, Wind sectors by validation of all assumptions, identification of risks and ensuring necessary mitigations, adding suitable credit enhancement measures depending on the type of risk associated with each transaction.

- Interaction and negotiations with business teams within the Wholesale Platform, compliance, Lenders Engineers, legal teams etc for improvement in credit terms and various aspects of the proposal in order to make it more credit worthy.

- Establishing exposure limits for each sector to minimise - Concentration Risk- and ensuring compliance for each proposal assessed.
