Manager - Costing - Pharma

Manager Costing - Pharma Sector - Mumbai

We are looking for a costing professional having expertise in designing, implementing, and improving costing systems and processes across the value chain.

Role :

- Preparing monthly cost statements for products, segments, and activities

- Reviewing direct and indirect costs for allocation and apportionment of overheads

- Conducting variance analysis and industry benchmarking for monitoring and control

- Planning and driving cost improvement initiatives in manufacturing and supply chain:

- Inventory Optimisation: Analysis of slow-moving, non-moving, safety stock, and reorder quantities

- Capex Projects Monitoring and Control: Financial impact analysis from input and quantity variances

- Implementing throughput costing, activity-based costing, and zero-based budgeting

- Supporting GM (F&A) in creating the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

- Identifying areas and opportunities for automation and digitisation

- Liasioning with functional leaders on managing budgets and procurement spend

Qualifications :

- At least 4 years of full-time work experience at a pharmaceuticals company as part of F&A or FP&A departments

- Sound knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry - value chain, cost drivers, and P&L

- Well-versed with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite

- Academics : CA, CMA, CFA, or MBA (Finance)
