POSITION TITLE: Manager Costing / Cost Engineers

Location: Powai / Hazira

Experience years : 08-12 years

Qualification(s):

(BE )Engineer (Mechanical)+ MBA (Finance) /

OR

(BE)Engineer (Mechanical) + ICWA (preferred) /

Or

BSc (Mathematics) / Statistics with engineering

Reporting to : F&A Head

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

Role:

To assess and monitor cost of execution on a continuous basis. The role would encompass the following activities so as to provide an independent assessment of the project cost incurred and its bearing on the estimated total cost to complete:

Participation in project model/structure right from the pre-bid stage

Evaluating various technical risks involved

Examining the technical processes involved

assessing completeness & accuracy in estimation

studying the commercial clauses in the bid and bringing out disparities, if any, in the Contract awarded

ensuring JIT procurements

in-depth cost monitoring & analysis vis-a-vis Estimate

timely escalation of cost increases

suggesting areas for cost-saving

ensuring proper documentation & techno-commercial compliance

detailed analysis of completed jobs

1. work on project cost monitoring & estimations

2. Adept with in-depth cost analysis

3. Should possess :

- Commercial side of Engineering

- Concerto basics

- Knowledge of assessment and procurement of Materials

- Candidates from engineering industry would be preferred

- Engineers with an aptitude for costing will be best suited
