Manager - Costing - Auto/Manufacturing Industry

- Oversee and manage the end-to-end costing process, including product costing and process costing.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness in costing calculations, considering all relevant factors.

- Collaborate & work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation.

- Implement a proactive approach in following up on pending tasks and information gathering related to costing.

- Ensure timely responses to queries and feedback, maintaining a sense of urgency in RFQ handling.

- Collaborate closely with the finance department to validate and align costing with financial standards.

- Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper documentation and approval processes for RFQs.

- Verify and validate costing models for accuracy and completeness.

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in product costing within the automobile manufacturing sector.

Education and experience

- MBA in Finance or ICWA (Cost and Works Accountant) with relevant experience in product costing within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the automobile sector.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
