Manager - Cost Accounting - Brewery/Distillery - ICWA

Location: Mudis (Valparai), Tamil Nadu

Specific Responsibilities:

- Preparation of Cost sheets along with the Profitability of various types of Teas from various Estates and Coffee-Arabica & Robusta.

- Monitoring Cost optimization initiatives of the management and highlighting any improvements required in the production process, sales process to the GM-Tea & COO-Plantation.

- Preparation of Financial statements for Tea & Coffee as per Ind-AS

- Liaising with Statutory Auditor and getting Statutory audit done for Quarterly/Yearly results without any adverse observation

- Preparation of Monthly MIS for Tea & Coffee

- Statutory compliance for Direct Tax & Indirect Tax.

- Monitoring the Debtors Balances and ensuring timely collection.

- Verifying and authorizing all payments to Vendors, service providers made from Cochin and all JV's passed in books.

- Verifying the Accounts, apportionment of selling expenses, Cochin establishment expenses to Tea Dvn Groups and closing monthly Accounts to Groups.

- Verifying the transfer of Tea turnover by way of credit notes to HO and closing the monthly Accounts to Mumbai. Verifying the monthly Cochin Balance Sheet to Mumbai for consolidation.

- Compilation of accounts from all Plantation departments

- Verifying the Bank Reconciliation statements.

- Ensuring agreements with Vendors and Service Providers are in place.

- Compiling CER- s, reviewing quotes, working out IRR and submission for approval to GM-Tea/COO-Plantations
