Manager Corporate Strategy - Manufacturing Industry - IIMs, / ISB, / XLRI / CA ranker

Job Purpose :

Develop medium & long-term strategy across functions. Deploy the strategy through appropriate investments, programs, resources & capabilities and drive implementation. Partner business functions to jointly advance the thinking and execution on key strategic topics.

Reports to : Principal - Corporate Strategy

Key Accountabilities :

Setting the direction - Strategy Development & Deployment

- Conduct secondary research and primary studies to enable input to strategy

- Identify mega trends, best practices within and across industries, benchmarks and present findings in appropriate forums

- Synthesize these into strategy, programs across different time horizons working with BU / function heads

Enabling realization - Thought partnership :

- Act as a thought-partner for business heads & functional leaders on BU/function-specific and company-level opportunities / issues across the company

Enabling realization - Identification & evaluation of investments, partnerships

- Identify organic and inorganic investments, partnerships required to realize strategic objectives

- Where inorganic investments are required - scout, evaluate & recommend investment opportunities

- Work with strategic partners & investee companies to realize target objectives

Driving outcomes - Strategic Project Management :

- Lead project teams / task forces to conceptualize, plan, program manage & execute programs / initiatives

- Own select, business-critical initiatives to achieve key short & long-term business objectives

Candidate Profile :

Qualifications & Experience :

- 2-4 years experience in Management Consulting OR in Corporate organizations in Business Analyst / Strategy / EA to CEO/MD role

- Must have significant experience in both strategy formulation and transformation projects in at least one core business function (sales & marketing / supply chain / operations / product management / customer service / digital / etc.)

- MBA/PGDM from premier institute (preferably IIMs, ISB, XLRI) OR CA rank-holders
