Job Brief:

The CSR Manager is responsible for developing, planning, and executing CSR initiatives across India in line with the company's business principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Also works closely with various departments to drive and manage activities that will contribute towards building a caring and inclusive culture within the company.

Main Responsibilities:

- Ensuring the CSR Policy is up-to-date and available on internal and external communication platforms

- Developing project proposals based on inputs received from various avenues including employee suggestions, emails etc. based on CSR policy, focus areas, business principles and SDGs

- Conducting due diligence of the NGO partner on three levels: Financial, Legal and overall due diligence

- Executing CSR projects as well as conducting periodic reviews to assess outcomes and effectiveness

- Acting as the focal point for the Company's CSR initiatives and building relationships with community partners and key stakeholders, including the CSR Committee, CSR ambassadors and volunteers and Project Owners

- Staying abreast of Government regulations and relevant research and trends in the areas of focus and promoting best practices

- Promoting employee volunteering initiatives in coordination with internal stakeholders

- Working with marketing and PR teams to drive internal engagement and promote storytelling

- Driving budget & monitoring spending to deliver results in line with planned objectives

- Represent the company at relevant forums such as CII, Swedish Chamber, etc.

- Ensure compliance of the Companies Act and other regulations including preparation of all forms, reports with respect to CSR

- Conducting CSR Committee meeting and record of its minutes

Key Requirements:

- Degree in Social Works and prior experience within a similar role preferred.

- Knowledge of the rules and regulations governing NGOs, CSR, and best practices for CSR will be an advantage.

- Strong expertise in managing relationships, networks, and teams that include a diverse group of people representative of the public and private sectors, community-based organizations, nonprofits, and civic leaders as well as program beneficiaries.

- Proven effectiveness in driving complex multi-stakeholder planning processes and cross-team projects to desired results.

- Ability to seek out, understand and incorporate feedback from the underserved communities we want to serve.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to distill complex information into simple messages and concise communication materials, tailored for the audience.
