- Designing & implementing quality standards protocol for processes & procedures for consistently delivering superior quality and safe food products in the extended supply chain leading to Consumer delight

- Proficient in ensuring product quality by using tools of Food Safety & Risk Assessment as per HACCP & IRMA guidelines

- Skilled in designing and communicating effective food safety control programs to meet consumer, regulatory, and operational needs

- Effective in high-profile roles: Certified Auditor with expertise in Food Safety Systems including HACCP, FSSC, Food Allergens, Supplier Audits, Validation, QID & GLP

- Lean Sigma Green Belt noted for completing Brownfield Projects and successfully making the same live

- Sound documentation skills with expertise in updating & implementation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Driving Food Safety assurance and QMS programme across manufacturing operations in India and Sri Lanka

- Building system capability to deliver Built in design Food Safety for Nutritional Powders, Food products with key inputs to geographical expansion of the category. Develop and guide category standards

- Harmonise and fine-tune the food safety programme to cater to the requirements of different manufacturing technologies employed across different sites

- Managing the Audit Universe for COMPANY ISC region to ensure the QMS sustenance

- Reviews of effectiveness of Food Safety and QMS system programme and ensure that methods, SOPs, manuals and laboratory are fit for purpose

- Facilitate capability development across External and Internal Supply Sites engaging business partners and ES operations and bring synergies by adopting best of both (COMPANY & Business partner)

- Work closely with R&D team to deliver robust & reliable manufacturing processes & analytical method and Ensure compliance to Regulatory standards

- Subject matter expert on regulatory Food Safety standards for all categories and guide the sites to ensure compliance

- Ensure all raw materials comply to regulatory specifications of countries in the region

- Participation in Communities of Practice & Industry Forums to build organisational Capability

- Represent ISC region in COMPANY communities of Practice on Food Safety and microbiology

- Build a network of practicing Food safety coordinators to translate Explicit & tacit knowledge into working knowledge in region

- Work proactively in Industry Forum to drive advocacy for Company product requirements

- Responsible for the food safety of company Life Nutrition Manufacturing hub based in India, which involves all own and contract manufacturing sites producing Infant Food and Food Supplements

- Implementing Implementation & driving QFS projects through of Non-Negotiable equipment & standards (NNE/S) in Infant food manufacturing facility to ensure Quality & Food safety is driven by design (QID)

- Responsible for raising level of QFS in the market, increase efficiency and also to support the team in new factory project from conceptualization until commissioning

- Ensuring manufacturing facility has an effective Food Safety Management system in place by providing leadership and expertise to set up a systematic approach

- Steering the execution of the Food Safety strategy and promoting compliance of the FSMS, undertaking Risk Management across the end-to-end Supply Chain

- Leading the implementation of Food Safety Management System, HACCP and Biovigilance Compliance Standards for all the products manufactured in Company Life Nutrition India

- Creating Food Safety Policy for CBU and align with Company Global Standards and Local Regulation, implementation of QMS for CBU

- Conducting Audit of Company Manufacturing sites, Co- Manufacturing Sites & Vendors, developing the crisis management, employee health and wellness and other major SOPs for CBU and coordinating for proper implementation with factory and Co-manufacturing
