KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES : - Manages a team responsible for the development and implementation of marketing programs to support Global' products and services - Manages the use of specific marketing strategies and media to launch and position products and services in targeted sectors - Plans and coordinates marketing campaigns to generate leads, retain existing customers, promote industry awareness, help strengthen the Global brand, and shorten the sale cycle - Responsible for the development of sales support plans and strong marketing collateral for use by field salesforce - Conducts market outreach to strengthen market position and increase market penetration FUNCTIONAL & BEHAVIORAL KNOWLEDGE : - Has broad knowledge of the industry and in-depth knowledge of S&P Global products - Deep subject matter expertise in one or more products PROBLEM-SOLVING: - Leads others in identifying issues in marketing processes - Resolves issues using precedent, expertise, and judgment INTERACTIONS ; - Works with sales and product managers to identify marketing ideas and strategies and respond to their questions - Works with team and product and sales management to develop marketing strategies and key messaging TYPICAL SCOPE & IMPACT : - Works with team and product and sales management to develop marketing strategies and key messaging MINIMUM & PREFERRED EDUCATION : - Bachelor' degree; Business or Marketing degree preferred MINIMUM & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS : - 5-10 years of marketing experience, including some management experience
