We are looking for a Manager - Corporate Legal ( Compliances) for our client with pan India presence based at Gurgaon.

Experience : Overall working experience of minimum 8 years in the legal department/law firm out of which 3-5 years of specialization in compliances
Education : Regular LL.B. mandatory
Job Summary : This role plays a very important role in heading the Compliance and IPR vertical of the Company. This role shall be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the comprehensive compliance framework as well as IPR management for Pan India operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Statutory Compliances:
- Build a tone and Culture of Compliance in the Company
- Develop, design and implement the Compliance monitoring framework for the company
- Drafting/creating checklists covering compliances emanating from various Central, State, local authorities Acts & Rules in all the 28 States and 9 Union Territories, which are applicable to the company and accordingly defining compliances for each function viz.:
- Human Resource
- Admin
- Finance
- Operation & Maintenance
- Deployment
- Supply Chain
- Sales & Marketing
- Lega
- Regulatory
- Designing, defining and developing the risk/criticality matrix for the Compliances
- Detailed discussions and meeting with the CXO's and their respective team members
- Conduct compliance trainings for all the users Pan India at regular intervals
- Conduct Compliance reviews and monitoring and support in implementation of corrective action for the identified key non compliances
- Co-ordinate with the respective departments to identify and remediate non compliances
- Providing timely support and guidance to all functions and teams
- Updating of the Compliance checklist/tracker at regular intervals
- Regular review, close monitoring of the statutory compliance partners to ensure proper compliances and on-ground implementation and adherence of the compliance to various laws viz. establishment laws, environmental laws, partner/vendor related compliances
- Governance meeting at regular intervals with the statutory compliance vendor
- Protect the IPR of the company including registered/unregistered Trade Marks, copyrights, designs etc.;
- Managing and maintaining the Trade Marks by ensuring their validity and renewal before time ;
