Global Shared Services (GSS) plays a vital role in supporting client's various service lines and business operations across the world. Over the last two years, GSS has grown four times in size and continues to scale new heights. GSS operates from 2 cities in India (Bangalore & Gurgaon) with a work force of over 3500 people.

Position Details:

Job Title: Manager Corporate Finance

Location: Bangalore

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Supervise daily accounting activities to maintain the General ledger

- Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities

- Implements recommendation to improve accounting processes and procedures

- Produces quarterly and annual financial statements and adhoc finance reports.

- Plan and Manage the Statutory Audits

- General Ledger Reconciliation

- Clearance of Purchase order

- Fixed Assets accounting/payment/comparison with budget/variance analysis/Maintenance of Register

- Calculation of Depreciation Monthly/Yearly/statutory/as per Income tax

- Support to manager in Accounts payable/direct tax/Indirect tax work

- Any other task to meet the job requirement

Competencies / Skills:

Chartered Accountant with 6-10 years of post-Qualification experience.

MS Office, specially excel

Knowledge of accounting packages like oracle SAP

Good Communication skills

Knowledge of GL Module and Interface with other sub modules

Experience:

- 7-10 years of relevant experience

- Working knowledge of direct Tax /Indirect tax laws (TDS/Service tax/VAT/WCT/Entry tax/Custom duty/Excise etc)

- Good understanding of Finance & Accounting

- Preferably from ITES sector
