Responsibilities for Finance Manager :
Strategic Financial Analysis, Planning and Reporting
- Undertake data analytics, research, competition benchmark and financial modeling to derive strategic insights for business across geographies.
- Support project analysis, capex estimations, investment pay backs
- Drive long range and short-range planning process and execution with local finance team
- Build strategic frameworks, planning tools and templates as corporate guidelines to business.
Investor relations & Capital Market :
- Create a compelling financial story for Investors to drive shareholder value creation
- Engage with analyst and investors in communicating the story
- Build financial model and future projections for the company basis period inputs from all geographies capturing opportunities and business realities.
- Support the team in creating investor presentations, MD&A, Annual reports, press releases for the dissemination to the financial community
Mergers & Acquisition :
- Devising M&A strategies, identifying companies that might be viable business targets.
- Reviewing due diligence (Financial, tax and Legal) conducted by advisors and identify risk mitigation strategies.
- Carrying out financial modelling that support the assessment of M&A opportunities (investment,divestment.)
- Presenting findings and pitching investment opportunities at Board Meetings.
- Negotiation of terms and fund-raising proposals.
- Working with the legal advisors, ensuring all the regulatory aspects of a transaction have been considered,l.
- Supporting the transaction process from A to Z, including operational due diligence, synergy review,"day-one" readiness assistance, post-merger integration...
Others Including :
- Reviewing funding needs, monthly reporting of all treasury activities to senior management
- Building the corporate policies and process to achieve highest level of corporate governance including authority manuals, costing infrastructure
- Risk mitigation through necessary checks on compliances,
- Support in IT digitization initiatives relating to Finance projects across the group Qualifications for Finance Manager
- A qualified CA / MBA.
- 5-8 years of experience Complimenting Corporate Finance, M & A, Treasury, Financial analysis
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making, presentation skills
- Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools.
- Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Project Management Skills
