Manager - Corporate Farms - Seed/Potato Production

- Lead & Manage early generation seed potato production corporate farm units in state.

- Lead the teams of Corporate Farm Managers & Agronomists on operational excellence.

- Improve the G1 seed productivity & manage the seed production cost at competitive level. Responsible for crop quality management - virus & soil borne diseases at minimum level in G1 seed, crop sampling & testing to determine the level of virus and grow out tests.

- Strengthen farm mechanization to improve operations efficiency.

- Reduce labour dependability.

- Ensure timely execution of planting, hilling, roguing, vine killing, harvesting & seed dispatch. Monitor & ensure efficient & timely application of Agrochemicals & other inputs to achieve target productivity with best quality on all farm units in the state.

- Strengthen the production, quality systems/ monitoring by innovations and involvement of experts to develop precision farming.

- Coordinate with R & D team to support variety evaluation programs and other R&D programs. Liaising & coordination with Govt, associated industry, corporate customers & institutions.

- Qualification - MSC Agriscience or Equivalent.
