Major Responsibilities :

- Serve as primary media contact directing all publicity, consumer awareness and image building campaigns in line with brand objectives.

- Develop PR strategies for company, private label brands & individual functions

- Evaluate results of the PR campaign to ensure it is in sync with the key messaging.

- Develop brand messaging, manage company public relations archives, oversee and help in execution of events

- Must be able to identify PR opportunities for the company or create stories to ensure the company is in the news.

- Liaison with functional heads and senior leadership to meet all PR requirements

- Must be able to develop PR communication - press releases, articles, letters, Q&As, profiles etc.

- Must be able to manage PR agency as well as key internal stakeholders to deliver the PR goals

- Conceptualize and implement external & internal PR events.

- Identify speaking opportunities for senior executives and provide support in the form of speeches and talking points.

- Propose, manage and control PR budgets. Monitor news coverage of competitors and other industry bodies.

- Develop crisis management plan in case of any negative fallout affecting the brand image

Education & Experience :

- Currently handling similar role in a PR agency or Corporate communication department of an organization.

- Overall 6 - 8 years of work experience.

- Prior leadership experience in similar roles in media houses/ e-commerce industry a plus.

- Strong networks with media houses & journalists

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and PR skills.

- Strong experience leading content, creative and business teams to drive high impact PR campaigns.

Desired Skills :

- Oversee for all corporate and business marketing communication and Branding.

- Manage outside agencies to plan, negotiate and buy media in traditional media outlets and work with the VP Website, Digital Marketing and Social Media to do the same in online media outlets.

- Drive continual process improvements and implement best practices to manage projects efficiently

- Work with the CSMO, other business marketing executives and external agency partners to develop marketing communication strategies in support of business and product marketing plans.
