Corporate Communications Manager

Industry - Energy sector (MUST have experience)

Location - Ahmedabad - must be willing to relocate

Job Dimensions:

- Strategize, ideate & implement corporate communication and PR programs for the company at Country level

- Design and develop key communication tools for both Internal and External communications in India

- Work on building brand awareness in India by integrating the communications of all entities in India

Activities:

- Strategize, ideate & implement corporate communication and PR programs

- Develop corporate communication plans with thorough research, drive engagement with positive brand building, and execute communication programs, including but not limited to energy policies, economy, climate change, sustainability, technology, competition, and related topics

- Liaison with external public relations agencies on a regular basis

- Draft the key messaging for the brand for PR campaigns apart from drafting press releases, thought leadership articles, blogs

- Building content for PR engagements, events, and various group digital assets such as websites, social media among others

- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, event participation, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis

- Draft thought leadership positioning notes and preparation of materials for meetings, events, and other stakeholders/media engagement activities

- Coordinate with the internal and external teams in information gathering, campaign management

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly updates capturing the impact of various PR programs

- Create and maintain a PR calendar monthly, quarterly and annual basis including events

- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

- Identify and develop communication tools - Online and offline to promote internal and external communication

Required Profile:

- A postgraduate degree in Journalism & Mass Communication/Public Relations/Advertising/MBA in Marketing & Communications from premier/tier-I institutes

- 8-12 years of experience in Corporate Communications & Public Relations, managing external communications and PR in the Energy industry

- Exceptional writing, editing, and proof-reading skills across a range of styles and content; a knack to flesh out stories and ability to create multi-media content

- Expertise in planning, managing, and executing large-scale events
