JOB SUMMARY : 

This role is an excellent opportunity to gain a strategic understanding of financial controllership and its role in Financial Services. You will be primarily responsible for overseeing, maintaining and strengthening the transfer pricing governance framework in collaboration with Tax and regional controllers across globe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : 

 TP Oversight (Maintain/strengthen the governance framework):

a) Quarterly governance meetings to discuss and review our strategy/progress on:

- Areas of concern

- Improvements

b) Review of new financial structures

- New products

- Acquisitions

c) Improve the operations surrounding TP

- Simplify where possible

- Calculation methods

d) Assess whether or not new flows are appropriate from a finance perspective:

- Possible to calculate with a reasonable effort

- Doesn't create reporting issues

- Ensure finance teams can/do understand them

e) Ensure adequate documentation for TP flows is available

- Information in TPM is correct and comprehensible to finance (Approval call)

Transformation Projects

f) TP agreements standardisation: Looking at having a limited number of templates for TP agreements

g) TP optimization:

- Assess to which extent we can use the new ERP calculation engines to move away from Excel spreadsheets

- If it isn't a good solution, explore other solutions like Optravis or similar products.

DESIRED SKILLS - 

Qualified CA with minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience and extensive exposure in transfer pricing, accounting, controlling and financial reporting.

a) Strong analytical skills including expert knowledge of transfer pricing and accounting principles;

b) Shows attention to detail and an appetite to dive into issues in depth as needed;

c) Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office software packages; Proficient with Microsoft Excel;

d) Knowledge of Essbase, HFM, and JDE/Oracle would be an advantage.

e) Collaborative approach to develop, share, accept and implementation of ideas

f) Identify opportunities & implement solutions to improve process
