Manager - Controllership

Role: Manager, Controllership

Shift Timings - 1:30 Pm - 10:30 Pm

Location - Remote / WFH

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare assigned daily and month-end account reconciliations.

- Research and clear all payroll related suspense.

- Clearing of rec items discovered during reconciliation process.

- Prepare daily, month and quarter-end journals.

- Perform weekly/biweekly payroll funding validation, matching and reconciliations.

- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

- In addition, for the above areas, identify process improvements and simplification opportunities in Payroll processes. Once process improvements are identified, drive the execution of those projects and work with others to drive to completion.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or Finance with 0-2 years' experience in accounting or in lieu of a degree with 2- 4 years of accounting experience

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

- Oracle GL experience.

- 2+ years of Payroll & Accounting knowledge.

- Personal computer proficiency - Microsoft Office product suite.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Controllership experience in a large organization or public accounting.

- Experience in financial services industry.

- Demonstrated team player with collaborative, facilitation and influencing skills.

- Ability to manage multiple & varied priorities.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or Finance with 0-2 years experience in accounting or in lieu of a degree with 2- 4 years of accounting experience
