What we are looking for: - We are looking for a talented and motivated Mid-Level Contracts | Legal Operations Manager with solid contract management and technology experience, the desire to support rigorous growth, and jump in and assist in overhauling our current contract management process. We are looking for a motivated self-starter with superior organizational skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. The position reports to General Counsel.&nbsp; - This role will provide legal support in contract drafting and negotiations, legal and policy compliance review, and other legal matters. The Mid-Level Contracts | Legal Operations Manager will collaborate with our global business team as well as other internal departments as needed to support global organizational growth. What you'll do: - Review, draft, interpret, approve, and negotiate a diverse variety of contracts including technology agreements, software license agreements, SaaS, consulting and development agreements, Statements of Work, non-disclosure agreements, contract amendments and extensions, and other agreements - Prepare legal responses to RFIs and RFPs - Manage and meet aggressive internal SLAs and help juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment. - A practical, creative and proactive problem-solver who is confident and calm under fire and a strong team player - Update legal department handbook, as needed - Assist with the implementation of contracts repository, which will include significant coding/data entry - Leverage applicable tools to develop custom reports for analysis and data validation - Maintain a library of form documents, contract clauses, templates, and historical documents, and add or revise material as needed - Co-manage and maintain contract templates - Opportunity to work with legal team (attorneys and non-attorneys) in contracts process - Proficiency in time management skills required to manage and support diverse types of agreements and product areas. - Project management: facilitating and consolidating multiple sources of information into a comprehensive contract inclusive of all stakeholder input. - Reviewing/organizing legal department filing system - Strong analytic skills with ability to interpret complex information and adapt it as needed. - Uses judgment, discretion and experience in decision making. - Work closely with other contracts manager to create run/play books for internal and external processes including contracts - Ad hoc projects What you have: - 12-15 years of relevant legal experience, including experience software and/or SaaS industry is a must - Contract Management certificate (from IACCM or NCMA) (preferred) - Experience with SaaS, Software, Partner Agreements - Global Experience (required) - Ability to think independently - Experience with technology license agreements - Ability to analyze legal risks within contracts, and use appropriate judgement to escalate to senior contracts manager as necessary, for further evaluation or approval. - Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and advanced interpersonal and influencing skills to build trusted relationships internally and externally - Diligent and passionate - Ability to jump and enjoy working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment - Self-motivated and self-reliant - Flexible/adaptable - Collaborative and collegial - Innovative - Attention to detail is a must - Strong organizational skills - Strong technical skill (MS Office, G-Suite, DocuSign, Salesforce, etc.)
