FEMALES ONLY Job Purpose : - The function is the representative of the customer and the inputs form the basis for the product development keeping in mind the future scenario and market dynamics. Their core function starts with the customer and market requirements which are fed into the concept. - They then approve the full styling and design process at various stages and ensure that the products which are launched are top notch with cutting edge technology and up-to-date styling and meet the customer requirements. - The role identifies the potential white spaces in 2W segments and prepares long term product plan to address those white spaces by studying and analysing emerging lifestyle and consumer trends, historical sales analysis and growth forecast, segment evolution in 2Ws and adjacent passenger vehicle segments. - Makes the product concept for R&amp;D's development work that has strategic intent behind developing that product, incisive description of customer requirements, target customers (demographics and psychographics), commercial targets such as price, volumes and profitability targets. Job Responsibilities : - Prepare long term plan to cater to white spaces identified for each segment within 2Ws to achieve target volume &amp; market share as per MTP 1. Market research (U&amp;A, customer lifestyle study, technology &amp; lifestyle trends etc.) to keep abreast with latest design concepts prevalent in the industry 2. Competitor actions and trends e.g. Market Share, Positioning etc. 3. Field immersion trips (Global Auto shows, socio-economic trends) 4. Brand USPs 5. Analyse the customer/market/ technology trends to design concepts which will fulfil stated/unstated future needs
