Consumer Insight & Research Manager
The role's responsibilities include :
- Building the foundation for weekly, monthly, and quarterly metric reports
- Leading efforts to qualify and quantify operational improvement opportunities
- Maintaining data integrity and troubleshooting issues
- Working with global and local CI teams to leverage best practices and databases
- Working with global and local research teams to leverage research efforts
- Working with the functional business leaders to build scalable processes and metrics
- Champion fundamental customer experience elements of our mobile products and services to ensure that the right voice and high-quality content are maintained.
- Demonstrate ability to work at the strategic and at the tactical level (analyzing data and solving problems).
- Proactively share and learn best practices for CI and research from other teams in India and across the world
- Stay abreast of new tools, trends, and best practices in analytics, CI and research.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership, internal stakeholders and marketing team colleagues to understand objectives and opportunities.
Basic Qualifications :
- B.Tech + MBA (From Tier 1 Institutes ONLY)
- 6+ years Business Intelligence / consumer insights experience working with Data Warehouse solutions and large data sets
- Expert level data modelling and ETL skills, knowledge of industry best practices, and a deep understanding how data is extracted, transformed, scrubbed and loaded in a 200-plus-terabyte DW environment.
- You know and are excited by cutting edge technologies in business intelligence; your technical skills are rock solid and you drive towards simple solutions to complex problems. You are adept at solving problems that span business and technology.
- Experience working with Oracle, SQL databases
- Experience working with common business intelligence tools (Tableau, Microstrategy, Cognos, Essbase)
- Strong ability to interact, communicate, present and influence within multiple levels of the organization
- Prior successes in leading teams that have provided analytics support to global stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with ability to understand business strategy, provide consultative business analysis, and leverage technical skills to create insightful, effective BI solution
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously to meet tight deadlines and drive projects to completion
- Strong drive for execution and delivering results. An ambitious self-starter with excellent follow-through skills to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment is crucial. Demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done and thinking big at the same time
- Tenacity and sense of urgency; the ability to make things happen quickly with large, less nimble partners and/or teams.

Preferred Qualifications :
- Proven experience in BI/DW as a change leader providing strategic research, recommendations, and implementations
- Experience in the digital media (music, video) Industry preferred.
- Knowledge of digital video landscape, including solid understanding of digital video
