Position Title: Manager Competency: Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences (PLS) Practice Location - Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bangalore Roles & Responsibilities: - Work with client's leadership and functional teams to drive strategic and operational initiatives, implement innovative solutions, measure results and ensure performance meets desired targets - Drive business development with the PLS leadership team and support proposal development - Define solution approach to address client business issues and determine consulting team support needs to drive engagement delivery - Take end-to-end ownership of engagements, including client management, preparation of work plans, developing hypothesis, driving solution design & implementation, and facilitating client teams across levels to ensure alignment and timely decisions to deliver value - Support / lead thought leadership and practice development initiatives - Support / lead training and capability development for consulting teams Education and Experience: - MBA from a premier business school with exceptional academic track record - 7 to 9 years of experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical devices companies in strategy & planning, operations, sourcing, supply chain, quality and regulatory management - Prior consulting experience is a must - Experience in leading large transformational projects and large teams - Experience in managing projects end-to-end and leading consulting teams Candidate Profile - Desired Skills: 1. Deep sectoral knowledge and understanding of key trends 2. Deep understanding of functional processes, performance drivers & industry leading practices, etc. 3. Good understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements 4. Deep analytical and quantitative problem solving capabilities 5. Ability to define solution approach, drive design and implement solutions to execute engagements in a timely manner 6. Strong communication (written and oral) skills and executive presence 7. Ability to develop long standing relationships with senior client stakeholders 8. Ability to develop and mentor consultants 9. Experience with digital technologies and process automation will be an added advantage
