- The Central Approval Team will be the Control Owner for all Asset Management financial promotion content. The team owns the centralised and globally consistent process for compliance review, approval, record keeping and monitoring of financial promotion content across all markets and all teams. It also aims to drive quicker and more efficient go-to- market for financial promotion content leading to growth in sales engagement opportunities, whilst ensuring adherence to all local regulatory requirements.
- This role is part of the Asset Management Client Business, CoE function and works closely with all other functions within the business which are involved in financial promotions management cycle to mitigate regulatory and operational risk.
- As a member of the Central Approval Team, one of the key responsibilities will be to support and deliver the objectives of the Central Approval Team.
- To be successful in this role, you will need to have an understanding of the regulatory requirements with respect to financial promotion content. Good team working skills and working with internal teams and various stakeholders.
Principal Accountabilities :
Key activities and decision making areas:
- Assist in the compliance review and approval process for the complete life-cycle of all financial promotion content across Asset Management - including self-compliance and Regulatory Compliance (RC) approval coordination at the Point of Manufacture (POM), Point of Distribution (POD) and Point of Customization (POC)
- Review the financial promotion content produced by various teams across the business, and ensure all content is clear, comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Add the appropriate disclaimers and disclosure to all approved financial promotion contents Publish approved documents to global and local content repositories (including Seismic)
- Maintain the full library of disclaimer/disclosure for all markets and all investment strategies
- Maintenance Global Compliance Checklist (in agreement with RC)
- Update disclaimer/disclosure library, Global Compliance Checklist and Compliance Training & Testing to ensure all financial promotions reflect these changes

- No avoidable operational losses as a result of advice/guidance from the team or inadequate oversight or intervention. Regulatory censure avoided or where unavoidable, mitigated
- Timely production of MI required for meetings
