JOB ROLE:

The role involves administering and ensuring statutory compliance under all applicable labour laws for construction industry including effective administration of all existing compliance mapping tools and liaison with Government officials and various statutory authorities

Independently handling Government officials in case of enquiries, assessment, inspections and proceedings.

Engaging with the Government officials and other key stake holders (viz. RLC, DLC, ACL, GLO, APFC, SO, EO etc )

Independently handling assessments under LWF, EPF, BOCW W CESS etc.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific responsibilities would include:

Independent handling of various records, registrations and filing returns under all applicable laws to the Company as Principal Employer

Thorough supervision of records, registrations and returns as mandated by law to the working contractors.

Handle the regular inspection and assessments under various applicable labour legislations

Handle regular correspondences with Government authorities

Risk assessment (risk quantification) in case of contractors default of provisions under the applicable laws

Maintain and provide analytics and reasoning for various compliance mapping tools updation

Responsible for ensuring updates / information on various court judgements / illustrations on construction industry labour laws

Job will involve travelling extensively within region

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

Applicants with Post graduate qualification (MBA equivalent) from reputed business school with specialization on Labour Laws & Corporate Governance is essential. Applicants from NIPM and IISWBM preferred.

Applicants should have experience in:

Creation and filing of applications for Regn. under various legislations including The CL ( R&A ) Act, The ISMW (RE&CS ) Act, The BOCW ( RE & CS ) Act, The MW Act, The PW Act

Creation and filing and revision of various returns and handling assessments ( as applicable ) under the above Act(s) and under the The CL ( R&R ) Act, The EC Act, he ESI Act, The EPF & MP Act

Updated knowledge on various amendments / citations on core applicable Acts

Exp : 5 yrs to 7 yrs
