Experience: 3-5 years of pure play Compensation & Benefits/Rewards Consulting for either HR Consulting agencies or corporates. (Industry agnostic)

Office location: Bandra Kurla Complex, (BKC), Mumbai

Candidate Location: Mumbai candidates preferred

Candidate's current ctc band preferred: 12-16 lacs per annum

Job Summary: Our Client is seeking a a competent Compensation & Benefits / Rewards Specialist (Manager/Sr Manager level) to lead the function, reporting into the Head - People Operations. This role will assist with Rewards/Compensation & Benefits strategy & implementation for the India Region Business. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the ongoing strategy, administration and assessment of the client company's rewards programs. This role will contribute to the compensation and analytical activities including the design, development, modelling, costing and administration of base pay programs and incentive programs that help to attract and retain the best talent with our client company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supports regulatory filing and other annual reporting eg. Provide compensation information on demand across levels.

- Supports the planning and execution of the annual compensation cycle including communication, validation and distribution of data, and support to HR teams in house.

- Takes a leading role in the bonus and salary review processes, often acting as a key contact for the HR teams and line managers.

- Assists and manages as an IC, in the management of other compensation programs as per the agreed processes. Ie. Accrual processes of bonus, deferred cash, etc

- Manages the ad-hoc increase recommendations - support on gathering of data and partner with HR Operations to ensure that the changes are properly completed in in-house HRIS systems and letters are issued in a timely manner.

- Reviews individual reward packages to facilitate, and input into, the decision making.

- Prepares and collates data and opinions to facilitate others to make a decision on exceptions on reward package and timing

- Resolves moderately complex benefits queries from employees and benefit vendors as/if applicable.

- Completes and submits all salary surveys, which include participation in third party and adhoc surveys; ensure that submission is on time and accurate.

- Undertakes external and internal salary benchmarking using a variety of sources with an eye to which sources are most relevant for the company.

- Administers/supports the development of salary ranges

- Produces reports on people data and compensation as requested

- Prepares presentations on reward data and projects pulling out relevant key insights for the audience

- Proactively engages the local HR teams in reward practices and projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelors in any stream, MBA/PG in HR preferred from institutes of excellence in HR.

- A minimum of 3-5 years of proven pure-play experience in Compensation & Benefits/Rewards Consulting for either HR Consulting agencies or corporates. (Industry agnostic, preferably with 3000 employees or more - Good to have but not mandatory).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail

- Advanced Excel skills and strong technical aptitude

- Understanding of HRIS systems, workflows and reporting

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Up to date, relevant knowledge of industry based compliances, government issued statutory regulations, etc

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
