JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities will include: - Implement the organization's C&B and EAR strategy in consultation with global CoE. - In co-operation with the global C&B Network, design, implement and administer the organization's compensation and benefits programmes and activities so that they meet the organization's objectives with regards to internal equity and external market competitiveness. - Topic areas covered: Job evaluation and classification, salary administration, short term, long term and sales incentive plans, share /stock ownership plans, employee benefits (such as health, insurance, motor vehicles, perquisites, expatriate compensation, executive compensation, workers compensation, salary packaging, retirement, pension and superannuation plans. - Liaise with functional or operation area managers to develop and implement local compensation programs that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organization's overall global reward strategy. - Analyse and evaluate external market data as well as internal data about the organization's current employee population and future human resource needs to develop salary budgets and forecasts that are consistent with the organization's global reward strategy. - Select, and manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and suppliers (for example, insurance carriers, actuaries, benefit providers) to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service and cost efficiency. - Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of compensation & performance and EAR professionals to ensure that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards. - Manage the organization's established human resource programmes so that they are implemented efficiently and equitably - Manage and administer employee records related to entire employee life-cycle. Ensure that organization and employee-related records are accurate, accessible and secure and comply with all relevant collective agreements, individual employment contracts, regulations, laws, and the organizations' employment policies and standards. - Collaborate with the global team to understand and implement changes within an organizational practice. - Working with HR teams at all locations in Asia to ensure data quality, accuracy and availability as per organizational needs. - Manage HR records, processing of information, and other administrative activities and completed on time and within established budgets. - Prepare personnel forecasts to project employment needs - Direct preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits, compensation, and personnel policies. - Training and supporting the HR organization with regards to the C&B programs and practices - Researching and scrutinizing the general factors like the government policies changes in the tax structure, market conditions etc.
