Job Description:

Job Purpose:

- Plan and support rewards portfolio mainly managing new initiatives & Projects. Create holistic reward analytics & continuous improvement plans to strengthen the rewards portfolio.

Job Context & Major Challenges:

This position has to support to fulfill planned activities as per the HR strategy, considering the following challenges

- The major long term challenges are to take proactive steps towards Rewards, JAE, PMS, integration of Group and Business systems / processes across business.

- Facilitating seamless, consistent and accurate two way communication and implementation between multiple portfolios at the corporate level on one hand, and multiple units across India and overseas on the other hand

- The business which has grown multiple fold in the last 5 years is stated to grow rapidly even further through brownfield acquisitions and new business initiatives. Managing integration of rewards, rolling out job evaluation, PMS process etc will be a major challenge.

- Managing coordination of multiple assignments and processes and keep an overview of ongoing portfolio timelines, tracking completion and pointing out overlaps/gaps

Key Result Areas:

a). Job Evaluation

1. Planning & Conducting of JE exercise for the Cement Business

2. Preparation of the presentation before the Cement Business and GHR committee

3. Reviewing jobs periodically

4. Preparations of JDs as and when required

5. Assisting in clarifying concerns and issues of the Committee and GHR related jobs


Handling all pre and post JE communications

b) Compensation related MIS & Analysis

1. Build Analytics COE and the capability to deliver the goals

2. Build frameworks to access, integrate and rationalize structured and unstructured data from a broad variety of internal and external data tores.

3. Reward analysis as per demographics

4. Monitoring and analyzing compensation anomalies through analytics & Explore the usage of advanced analytics to strengthen governance

5. Support in standardization of processes and procedures in the business

c) Support in implementing Group R&B, JAE & PMS policies & guidelines at the business & unit level

6. Facilitating implementation of uniform quality of processes across all units

7. Align unit level practices with BCOE on an ongoing basis

8. Inputs to BCOE on business requirements and providing feedback on ongoing processes & policies

d) Continuous improvement plan

1. Implement governance and escalation framework basis the agreed guidelines for rewards end to end portfolio.

2. Enable regular governance call with key stakeholders to discuss gaps regularly

3. Highlight anomalies and suggest changes.

e) Compensation - New initiatives & Projects

1. Identify gaps and create broad project plan for the review and rework of rewards portfolio

2. Support and be part of the implementation of all the ongoing business and GHR project

3. Connect with relevant stakeholders and team for the alignment and seamless
