Role Purpose: - Manage processing & oversee all customer orders, shipments, customs clearance, invoicing, logistics for delivering the goods to customer. Assisting the credit control team on Invoicing & establishing controls on receivables. - Professional with ~12-15 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Finance & Accounts, Receivable & Payable Management, Collections, Client Relationship, Team Management, SCM activities, Business analysis/ MIS preparation. Key Responsibilities: - Manage team size of 10+ employees working on order processing, coordinating with global factories on shipments, customs clearance, invoicing, logistics/dispatch etc, dredit control. In addition to this, the person would also be responsible for Indirect sourcing for the business. - Oversee team verifying the accuracy of customer orders, validating and processing of all domestic and international orders as applicable - Proactive management of the monthly order book & publishing backlog reports - Work with global factories for on-time material shipment, ensure completion of all documents like Certificate of origin, Bill of Lading, Packing list, warranty certificate etc. - Coordination with freight forwarder & customs authorities for import clearance of goods in the country like filling of bill of entry, ensuring correct classification of goods and thereby correct basic customs duty (BCD)/ GST etc. - Work with finance team to ensure timely payment of taxes, ensuring no demurrage charges are levied & correct input credit for all GST taxes. - Getting GRN (Goods receipt) in the ERP system to record inventory in Ametek India & coordinating with AR accountant for invoicing - Coordinate with local freight forwarder for shipment of goods to customers. - Managing contracts & connects with local & international freight forwarders - Assist in developing pricing approaches, updation to the price list based on feedback from business/prospects & business development team. - Also lead the Indirect Sourcing function for the business & manage the sourcing process in compliance with the sourcing policy, put controls to prevent cost overruns - Strong analytical & organizational abilities with adeptness in Documentation, Inventory Management, inventory management & indirect sourcing Ideal Candidate Requirements : CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) Personality: - Outgoing, tenacious, positive attitude - Process driven, problem-solving & ability to learn quickly - Flexible approach to working hours & Multitasker - Ability to manage & motivate team
