Purpose of the job :

- Responsible for the Contractual Aspects of the Division. Contract performance Monitoring, Delay analysis, Commercial analysis, Contractual

- correspondence with the client, EOT, and Claims. Contractual & Commercial support during the Pre-id stages in putting out extraordinary. propositions and winning bids to customers.

Key Responsibilities & Activities:

1. Responsible to review project tenders, review conditions & specifications manuals.

2. Responsible to float project specific or general subcontract RFQs, respond to queries regarding scope of work from contractors. Responsible to negotiate, formulate and conclude contractual agreements/terms with vendors/suppliers/contractors for the procurement of services/materials.

3. Responsible for preparing all contract drafts based on input from the concerned Sales Department.

4. Responsible for Contract performance reviews & to safeguard Company interest by sending timely notifications to client.

5. Responsible for timely invoicing and certification of monthly bills.

6. Responsible for all individual and certain specific departmental productivity targets, financial objectives, KPIs and attainment thereof.

Other tasks:

1. Promoting Group Values, Code of Conduct and associated policies

2. Participating and providing positive contribution to technical, commercial, planning, safety and quality performance of the organization and in accordance with Client, Contractual, regulatory requirements

3. Visiting Sites & Project locations to discuss operational aspects & issues

4. Developing deep understanding of the local market; including knowledge of competitors, clients and/or contractors, relative market positions etc

5. Undertaking any other responsibilities as directed and mutually agreed with the Line Management.

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Contract Law, Quantity Surveying or similar built environment subject

- Master's degree (preferred)

- Professional Certifications - Certifications in project management, contract administration, negotiation, pricing etc. (preferred)

- Association/Membership of a Chartered Institution - ICE/ CIOB/ RICS

Skills :

- A proven work experience as a Manager Commercial & Contracts

- Strong writing and record keeping abilities. Strong IT skills. Strong communication, planning & organizing skills. Strong leadership skills
