Manager - Client Reporting (12+ Years)

Looking for a professional with 12-15 years of work experience in generating client performance reports by having strong knowledge and experience on Aladdin application on Client Reporting along with exp in Power BI platform for automation of reporting. Also, has been working on Client Reporting operational delivery and understands the data flows and performance attribution.

Location: MUMBAI

Responsibilities:

- Through understanding of key data attributes which flows into the client performance reporting from Asset Management (Buy Side) point of view

- Ensure the team delivers accurate and timely fund data to Sales, Marketing, Vendor Platforms and other key stakeholders

- Identify automation opportunities and implement efficient processes to manage client reporting each month

- Ensure reasonable level of awareness / knowledge about investment operations and asset management across your Team.

- To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise.

People Development:

- Engage in career aspiration mapping of data analysts where they are linked to a different vertical in Prudential Global Services.

- Conduct training needs analysis and facilitate / impart process & soft skills training to build people capabilities.

- Identify underperformers & adhere to the company's performance management protocol.

- Keep the motivation / engagement level & buzz going in the team & across the Ops floor.

Relationship building:

- Build strong partnership with onshore stakeholders/fund managers and anticipate requirements and deliver accordingly

- Effective liaison with various departments within Operations to gain support and resolve issues

- Proactively identify problems and present solutions

Prudence based responsibilities:

- Conducting and overseeing quality audits

- Ensuring compliance to internal and external regulations and procedures

- Adhere to the risk register & other governance related MI updated (or get it updated by relevant parties on a periodic basis).

- Deploy effective controls to ensure green results on internal and external audits.

- Earn a 100% score on the Draft Reports of the audits conducted.

- Enable operations to successfully clear all audits conducted.

- Be accountable for their respective team's performance on his/her internal reports.

- Take regular coaching sessions with Data Analysts to set expectations.
