Manager/Chief Manager - Corporate TQM - Manufacturing (4-12 yrs)
This role is with a Manufacturing company
The purpose of this role is to enhance problem solving ability across corporate office and group in non- manufacturing areas through design and implementation of problem-solving methods and daily management, thereby impacting business outcomes
Key Responsibilities -
- Design problem-solving programs integrating different approaches including lean
- Train, facilitate improvement projects and execution themes, impacting business outcomes
- Design and conduct Basic Courses for new joinees
- Design and conduct domain specific refreshers for existing employees- help solve operational troubles through deeper data driven analysis
- Facilitate Annual planning for Corporate functions with identification of specific improvement themes. Facilitate right selection and deployment of CPs across functions
Requirements
- Graduate/PG in Science or Engg.,
- 8 years plus post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in leading or implementing process improvement methods and systems (Lean/Six Sigma) in a service function (Manufacturing industry, BPO/KPO, IT/ITes, service delivery etc.)
- Certification in Lean/Six Sigma from reputed institutes preferable
- Direct experience preferable in one or more functional areas of Accounts/Finance, HR, Sales or Sales coordination, with detailed knowledge of transactional processes
- Hands-on implementation of starting and leading Lean methods (TPS) in an office environment, preferably as a leader or core member in a large implementation
- Well versed with MS Excel, statistical software and flowcharting and other tools
