Main Responsibilities:
- P&L ownership : At category level, managing Buying plan, optimizing it across catalog to ensure GMV growth. Support the sales team with stock availability across portfolio,. Instock management
- Assortment Management : Focusing on business growth and assortment build up
- Brand Engagement : Be the 2nd level of engagement with category brands, - responsible for monetization and business operational readiness..
- Sourcing of products
- Brand tie-ups
- Responsible for budgeting and planning in alignment to Sales Target.
- Negotiate with strong commercial and financial awareness.
- Category Buying
- Marketing
Qualifications:
- Graduate
- MBA (preferably, not mandatory)
Functional Skill Sets:
- 3-8 years in competitive Buying/Category Management role, Shopper Marketing, Key Accounts Management or Retail (Mobiles & Accessories)
- Industry Source : Preferably from Modern Trade, Ecommerce
- Should the aspirant be from the retail side of the business, the candidate should have experience of working in prominent retail chains
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with executives across diverse groups.
- Knowledge/Experience of working in specific industry/and or distribution.
- In-depth knowledge of Product Life Cycle, new product development.
- Should have a team handling experience.
