Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services- Manager

Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) is a team of professionals that provides advisory services for various accounting and capital markets related matters. These services include conversion from one GAAP (e.g. Indian GAAP) to another GAAP (e.g. Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP), advise on complex accounting matters, trainings, advise on capital market listing, secondments.

Roles & Responsibilities (essential functions and responsibilities of the job) :

- Lead multiple teams to execute client engagements related to GAAP conversion, IPO preparedness

- Manage quality of the service delivery to the clients

- Act as the focal point of contact for the client

- Review of financial statements from financial reporting compliance purpose under difference accounting framework

- Assist due diligence teams in IFRS/US GAAP impact assessment on cross-border transactions

- Contribute to thought leadership publications on IFRS, US GAAP and Indian GAAP

- Organizing and providing Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP/IGAAP training to the client

- Explore and pursue opportunities for business development

Desirable :

- Prior experience of managing capital market transactions

- Prior experience of delivering trainings

Candidate Specifications :

Essential Skills :

(i) Expert Knowledge of IFRS/US/UK GAAP

(ii) Knowledge of Indian accounting standards.

(iii) Ability to perform and evaluate technical research

(iv) Working experience in relation to the following services/solutions:

- GAAP conversions and implementation of new accounting standards

- Drafting and designing accounting policies

- Technical accounting research and advice

- Consolidation and Compilation support

- Financial statement close process support

- Transaction accounting and reporting - IPO's, Carve Outs, PPA etc.

(v) Actively support the leadership for growth initiatives

(vi) Strong management skills to lead teams

(vii) Strong written and verbal communication skills

(viii) Ability to manage budgets
