Position Title : Business Process Owner: Remote Container Management

Reports to : Head of Inland Operations

Location : Chennai

Job grade : Manager / Supervisor

Supervises : None (Individual Contributor)

Job overview (purpose/ summary) :

The job is to be responsible for process ownership of Remote Container Management (RCM) processes:

- Proactive and effective in engaging the operations community across various levels and functions in HQ, LOC's and Country Clusters.

- Accountable for process designing / solutioning, defining IT requirements for systems pertaining to the RCM processes.

- Accountable for evaluating / leading opportunity assessments in the RCM sphere.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drives implementation of RCM processes and initiatives within and outside the GSC sphere.

- Provides input and designs solutions based on voice of customer (voc) / voice of process (vop) reviews.

- Responsible for defining key performance indicators (KPI- s) / establishing Service Level Agreements (SLA- s) and targets within the RCM processes and reviewing performance at agreed intervals.

- Drive continuous improvements in processes to deliver a stable and meaningful business process supporting the business agenda.

- Define and Facilitate IT business requirements and related changes that support process solutions in line with the RCM BPOs responsibilities.

Responsible for collaborating proactively with stakeholders in :

- Driving down total cost pertaining to the RCM process.

- Driving further simplification / automation of the RCM processes.

- Providing support to the execution teams on RCM process related queries.

- Defines and articulates contingency plans pertaining to the RCM processes in consultation with the execution teams.

Primary Stakeholders (Internal) :

- Line Manager - RCM

- HQ Inland Operations Team

- LOC and Cluster Operations Functional Managers

- GSC process execution / transformation peer group community

- MLIT organisation

Key Measures :

- Total savings generated from the RCM processes

- Efficiency gains

- Improve E2E process capability.

- Improvement of company cost picture related to Operations

Skills required :

- Thorough E2E understanding of the RCM process including technology interfaces

- Candidate must be IT savvy and have a broad business understanding of IT system developments

- Prior exposure to Reefer equipment management will be an added advantage

- Transformation mindset and change management skills

- Creative thinking and persuasive mindset

- Good communication skills
