Business Intelligence Manager - Manufacturing

Transform raw data into structured information, analyze data to drive strategic decisions, enhance analytical and reporting functions, and supervise performance and quality assurance processes.

Data Visualization and Analysis:

- Translate complex data sets into clear, concise visualizations to communicate insights effectively.

- Developing datasets through ETL processes and ensuring they are clean, accurate, and ready for analysis.

- Design and build interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI and MS Excel.

Data Modeling and Transformation:

- Design and implement robust data models to support analytical reporting requirements.

- Utilize Power Query and M language to perform data transformations, cleansing, and enrichment.

- Develop and implement ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

- Understanding and experience in developing Descriptive, Prescriptive, and Predictive models.

Data Source Integration:

- Establish connections to various data sources, including databases, monitoring tools, CRM systems, and cloud platforms using API or custom connectors.

- Configure API connections to extract, transform, and load data from external sources into Power BI.

- Experience setting up, building, and maintaining production data pipelines.

Advanced Skills:

- Creating a data warehouse or data lake in MS Azure

- Building and maintaining data pipelines

- Implementing appropriate role-based access controls and data protection measures

- Expert-level Excel skills to perform in-depth financial and operational data analysis.

- Deliver automated reports to Customers and Stakeholders using Power BI paginated reports.

- Write and optimize complex DAX queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.

- Develop automated workflows and macros to streamline data management and processing tasks.

Qualification And Experience:

1. Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field with 5 - 7 years of minimum experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and visualization.

2. Microsoft PL_300 or DP-500 Certification preferred.

3. Experience in creating a data warehouse and building data pipelines from various data sources.

4. Expert-level proficiency in DAX, SQL, Python, R, M, or other data manipulation and analysis programming languages.

5. Advanced skills in Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate complex financial models and perform data analysis using advanced functions, such as pivot tables, data validation, and macros.

6. Strong working knowledge of Power BI, including the ability to design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support analysis and decision-making.

7. Strong problem-solving skills to help refine problem statements and solve them with the available data.

8. Experience with data cleansing and normalization.

9. Possess strong awareness of changes to data privacy requirements and maintenance, responsible and ethical data handling practices, and ensure classification and governance of rules and regulations are consistently applied in work activities and results.

10. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

11. Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, solve complex challenges, and operate in a fast-paced team environment.
