Manager - Business Intelligence - Insurance PURPOSE OF THE ROLE : The role looks at providing the function of Business Intelligence for informed decision making TYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS : Qualification: - Engineering Graduate/Post Graduate in Management/Economics/Statistics Experience: - 4-6 years experience in business intelligence Knowledge &amp; skills: - Proficiency of statistical modelling in R &amp; Python is a must - Sound Knowledge of any Data Visualisation tool is a must - Should have worked in a Consumer Facing Industry such as Bank, Non Bank, Insurance, FMCG, Retail directly or through analytics company/kpo - Must be good at Analytical thinking &amp; breaking down large problems into solvable chunks. - Have a consulting orientation; gather different perspectives, examples and use them to enrich day-to-day work. - Must have worked on Structured Data - Must be well versed with Regression (Linear &amp; Logistic), Time Series Models, Decision Trees, Random Forests &amp; Bayesian Statistics - Must have worked on both Flat Files as well as Databases
