Manager - Business Intelligence - Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

- Understands the business thoroughly.

- Understands requirement of standard business reports, prepares a framework which is accepted firm wide.

- Delivers accurate reports on time to relevant stakeholders.

- Attends to ad-hoc business report requests from various departments and ensures their reporting needs are met on time.

- Maintains accuracy of business reports at all times and helps teams in analysis and comprehending the data.

- Attends to queries on quick data from teams and ensures it is adhered to within acceptable timelines.

- Collaborate with the Technology team to automate basic reporting. Ensures enough data is provided to the technology team to help them code.

- Identify review reports required by the departments. Ensures to avoid delays in generating and sending these reports.

- Runs models/simulations on Excel under the guidance of AVP.

- Suggests data improvements in order to fetch relevant reports which are useful for the teams.

Associated Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

- Should have proficiency with numbers.

- 3 - 5 years of experience as Business Analyst.

- Must be proficient with Excel and SQL and a BI tool (Tableau or Power BI).

- Knowledge of R and Python would be added advantage.

- BTech/BE in any discipline. Master's degree would be preferred however not a pre-requisite.
